Monster traps!

Hello there.. I was discussing monster traps with some fello westerness and we realized that they pretty much break the value of arrows bones creeper powder and feathers. they are not be trade able.

So I was thinking we should make these traps illegal.

Do you mean those huge rooms that are dark and have flowing water towards a collection point? Then yes, yes they should be illegal, they ruin these kinds of PvP and RP servers.

Illegal? As a server rule? No no. We want to be versatile.

These traps give people nearly unlimited gunpowder, pork (if you make it work with animals, it is possible), feathers, arrows, bone... anything you get from a mob spawning in the regular world (Unless you figure out a way to make it work with the Nether). My biggest concern about these is the unlimited gunpowder.

Yeah i suppose too much TNT would be a problem but I'll see about making it illegal.
