A war question

Where would a war take place? Like, which factions base?

They could also decide on a place for a battle.

Why wouldn't you want to defend? You can use different tactics.

I'd rather be away from my beautiful city fighting then at it.

What about this:

The war starts at the midpoint of the two cities. Every time someone wins a battle, they get to move up a certain amount of blocks.

Eventually theyed get to the city.

Or how about the two factions just declare war and fight it out wherever the two armies meet? It might be at either faction's base or somewhere between the two. This way the factions could plan to fight defensively or go on the attack. War could continue until one faction surrenders.
