I am seeing these ads that keep spamming the website, like "you got a new message". When I click that, it leads me to this download thing... is it the server that is letting you to be able to log in or something?
(other messages that appear: "You got a new friend request" "PLAY NOW" )

If it's an ad it's an ad and isn't picked the website. I never click ads as they can have viruses and I have Adblock anyway. Look up the ADblock extension for Firefox or Google Chrome
