I think that is a great idea, but have minecarts as the cars, use powered rails to make them go fast!
An this also gave me another idea, and that is to have under ground passage ways, just in case you want to go to the outside places and be safe from monsters!

AND BUILD A SUBWAY SYSTEM! I would charge people to ride, and prosecute anyone trying to sneak on, or use their own minecart. I would have the Grand Central Station, and there would be a subway leading to places like hotels, town hall, my shopping center (yes), etc.

You'd have to get permission from the governors to build in their territory, underground of not.

I would say we have our own Holidays, not real life holidays.

Because there might be religions that certain factions follow, wouldn't make sense to celebrate Christmas now would it ?

Interesting idea, those 'religions'. I still think we should at least celebrate international, non religious holidays.

I've been thinking, we need a certain texture pack for this server. And we also need some kind of foreign skin, since theres going to be castles and such.
